About this course
The ITIL 4 Specialist: Direct, Plan and Improve certification recognises capability in directing, planning and improving service management. It is awarded by PeopleCert. Across three days, the course explores key concepts, governance, risk and compliance, planning methods, continual improvement, measurement and reporting, and organisational change and communication. You will analyse your current service context, map value streams, define improvement backlogs, and build reporting and communication artefacts through practical group work. The exam is a closed-book, 40-question multiple-choice assessment lasting 90 minutes, with a 70% pass mark (28/40). It is delivered online with remote proctoring or at an approved test centre, and certifications follow a 3-year renewal policy. PeopleCert requires completion of accredited training before you can take this module’s exam. PeopleCert owns the certification scheme.
