THE BIG PICTURE

About this course

Elastic Certified Engineer is a professional certification awarded by Elastic for practitioners who can design, build, and operate production-grade implementations on the Elastic Stack. Across four days, you practise data modelling and ingest, build powerful searches and aggregations, apply lifecycle and backup policies, tune performance, and run multi-node and multi-cluster operations. Labs use real APIs and scenarios to diagnose issues, recover from failures, and maintain a healthy cluster. The certification exam is administered and sold by Elastic. Current exam format, duration, delivery, booking, and policies are published on Elastic’s certification pages. Elastic owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.

What you’ll learn

  • Design efficient index mappings, analyzers, and templates for varied data sets
  • Build reliable ingest pipelines with processors for transformation and enrichment
  • Write precise queries with the Query DSL and analyse relevance and scoring
  • Create aggregation solutions for exploration, reporting, and analytics use cases
  • Apply lifecycle policies, snapshots, and restore for resilience and governance
  • Operate and troubleshoot multi-node clusters, routing, and shard allocation
  • Tune indexing and query performance using APIs, metrics, and logs
  • Practise exam-style tasks and plan next steps for the Elastic Certified Engineer exam
