THE BIG PICTURE

About this course

AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure is the exam required to earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate credential, awarded by Microsoft. It validates skills in developing, securing, integrating, and monitoring cloud applications on Azure for professional developer roles. Across four days (09:00–17:30), you practise building compute workloads with App Service, Functions and containers; working with storage and data access; implementing identity and application security; and monitoring, optimisation and integration patterns. Labs use Azure SDKs, the CLI and the portal to deploy, test and troubleshoot realistic workloads, with guided decision-making and peer discussion. The AZ-204 exam is a single, closed-book, proctored test available online or at test centres via Pearson VUE. A scaled score of 700/1000 is required to pass. The associated certification is valid for one year and can be renewed annually by completing a free online assessment on Microsoft Learn. Microsoft owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.

What you’ll learn

  • Design and deploy Azure compute solutions with App Service, Azure Functions and containers
  • Implement data storage with Blob, Files, Queues and Cosmos DB, using appropriate SDKs and patterns
