About this course
Agile Business Analysis (AgileBA) is a professional certification awarded by APMG International for analysts and change professionals working in agile contexts. It focuses on defining value, understanding stakeholder needs and aligning delivery with strategic outcomes. Across three days, the course covers agile BA principles, discovery and delivery techniques, stakeholder engagement, value definition and prioritisation, user stories and acceptance criteria, modelling options, planning and governance. Learners work through a realistic case study, build key artefacts (such as story maps and process models) and complete exam-style exercises. APMG International offers examinations at Foundation and Practitioner levels. Exams are available globally and can be taken online with remote proctoring or via an APMG Accredited Training Organisation. The course includes exam practice; booking and sitting the exam are arranged separately with APMG. APMG International owns the certification scheme.
